About

This blog was originally a response to the  rash of tragedies regarding Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning youth in schools and colleges due to bullying last fall. These young, vital, promising lives were cut short because they felt they had nowhere to turn. LGBTQ students are more than thirty percent more likely to commit suicide than their straight counterparts. Furthermore, sexual orientation, gender identity, and perceived sexual orientation are the main reasons for bullying in schools today, even above and beyond the traditional reasons, such as weight and other physical attributes, shyness, or perceived intelligence.

We are now expanding our purpose to include Equality for all people worldwide. We have made great strides recently, but still have quite a long way to go. The administrators here hope to play some role, no matter how big or small, in helping bring about Equality for all, once and for all. Inequality Hurts. Let’s put a stop to it.
